Sorgente Filtra turns water from the water mains into purified water with a fresh and natural flavour, removing any taste-altering substances such as chlorine and heavy metals (copper, lead or nickel). The water is supplemented with Magnesium and Zinc thanks to the filter developed in partnership with BWT, a world leader in the water treatment technology industry.

What are the minimum installation requirements?
Sorgente Filtra does not require special minimum installation requirements: the filter can be installed under the sink taking up little space.
What type of filtration does the system use?
The five layers of the BWT Zinc + Magnesium filter trap odours, flavours and any unwanted substances in the water mains. Additionaly, the water is supplemented with Magnesium and Zinc, which delivers the perfect combination of minerals and trace elements that are essential for our health. The BWT filter also provides optimal protection against limescale: the result is pure, refreshing and tasty water for hot and cold drinks.
What are Magnesium + Zinc for?
Magnesium is a very important mineral for our well-being: it keeps us fit and healthy for dynamic day-to-day life, stimulates the cardiovascular system, boosts mental ability and plays a key role in our nervous system, helping us relieve everyday stress. The addition of Zinc adds freshness to the water, supports the immune system, and has a positive effect on skin and hair, contrasting the negative effects of free radicals.
How does the mixer work?
The separate internal ducts allow you to choose the type of water you want at any time: the knob on the left dispenses natural filtered water at room temperature, while the knob on the right dispenses mixed running water. Some models are fitted with a practical pull-out hand shower, which ease operations in the sink.
What is the capacity of the supplied filter?
The BWT Zinc + Magnesium filter has an average capacity of 650 litres (22 °f). However, replacement once a year is recommended.
How do I monitor the residual capacity of the filter?
The indicator monitor accompanies all Sorgente Filtra models: simple and convenient, it lets you keep an eye on the residual capacity of the BWT filter. It can be installed inside the cabinet underneath the sink, for instance on a front or side wall for quick and easy access at any time.
What is included in the kit?
In addition to the mixer, filter, support bracket and litre counter, the kit also includes the necessary hoses and connections for quick and easy installation.
Where can I buy the replacement filter?
You can buy the filter from Nobili and BWT distributors (or from the BWT website).
Can I use other filters with the system?
Yes, you can use other filters but you will also need to change the support bracket as the one provided is only compatible with BWT filters.
What kind of warranty does the system come with?
The standard Nobili warranty applies to all the taps and the mixer. For the sink filter, please refer to the BWT warranty available on the website www.bwt.com.

Sorgente Filtra is quick and easy to install: it does not necessarily require the intervention of specialised personnel and does not force you to revolutionise the area underneath your sink; the entire system in fact has a minimal footprint and leaves enough space free to store tools and accessories inside the cabinet.
