NOBILI DNA

OUR PATH, FROM THE 1950s TO TODAY

There are men who have great ideas, and others who succeed in transforming modest ideas into sound businesses. But very few men are able to nurture big dreams and translate them into successes. Carlo Nobili was one of these: his dream started in a small workshop in Borgomanero, in the province of Novara, back in 1954.

FOREVER CARLO NOBILI

A man with a strong character, demanding and strict, but at the same time a charitable and always helpful person. A successful entrepreneur, insightful and far-sighted, and at the same time an extraordinary benefactor of the area. Carlo Nobili belongs to the restricted category of people whose memory is destined not to fade, but to remain alive over time.

A DREAM COME TRUE

Nobili started out as a commercial activity: 91 items in raw brass, kept in a 32-page file. Although the company was in its pioneering phase, it continued to progress and Carlo, after starting up a small production operation, felt the need to equip himself with a structure capable of transforming the artisanal activity into an industrial enterprise.

BORGOMANERO PRODUCTION PLANT, 1970

Nobili has thus transformed itself into an industrial system geared to playing an important role in the growth of the sector, equipping itself with suitable production, logistical and commercial resources. The first factory was built in Borgomanero in 1970; this 2,000 square metre building housed the administrative offices, sales offices, the production units and logistics facilities.

DORMELLETTO PRODUCTION PLANT, 1974

To play a leading role, it is necessary to produce more and better. In 1974, Alberto, Carlo's eldest son, joined the company and brought about a radical change of direction and the Dormelletto plant was established. The foundry, some mechanical processing islands and the chromium-plating and painting plants are located in an area of 10,000 square metres.

FORESIGHT AND CUSTOMER FOCUS

The evolution of the factories, determined by layouts designed on a modular basis to support the company's constant growth process, has always been accompanied by the ability to perceive customer expectations, devising solutions that foresee fashions and habits, and meeting people's real needs.

SUNO PRODUCTION PLANT, 1990

A major step was accomplished in 1990 with the construction of the first 10,000 m2 portion of the Suno production site. This result of a clear, long-sighted strategic vision has now become the most technologically advanced production site in the sector and the only one to include every phase of the production process.
