Full environmental sustainability has always been a priority objective. Today, many companies with a limited ecological awareness aim to protect their reputation by declaring themselves sustainability-oriented: Nobili really is, and continuously invests significant resources in the pursuit of this goal.

ZERO IMPACT
Nobili’s great environmental awareness is clear when assessing the features of its production system and products, which aim at achieving the highest possible energy and water efficiency. From January 2022, Nobili has reached net-zero carbon emissions because it will be relying exclusively on energy from renewable sources (wind, solar, hydropower, etc.). Every kWh of green energy used means preventing the release of approximately 300 grams of carbon dioxide, which would occur if using energy from non-renewable sources, such as coal, gas, oil or nuclear power. This translates into not releasing approximately 3 billion kg of carbon dioxide per year.

RECOVERY OF PROCESSING MATERIAL
Waste material from production processes (brass shavings, plastic sprues or machining oil) is recovered in special storage silos to be regenerated and, after appropriate treatment, is ready to be used again, eliminating waste and protecting the environment.

PROCESSING FUMES AND DUSTS
Healthy and comfortable environments promote the quality of life of the operators, to the benefit of product quality: it is no coincidence that Nobili has obtained "Zero Emission Company" certification, which officially acknowledges the implementation of all measures aimed at the total elimination of greenhouse gas emissions.

WATER REGENERATION AND LIQUID DISTILLATION
Nobili has always promoted respect for this irreplaceable resource, producing products that promote its responsible use. Even within the production cycle, sustainability is evident: used water is treated with special resins in closed-loop purification tanks, where it is purified and is then returned to the plants.

REFRIGERANT OIL RECOVERY
The company operates 5 plants for recycling the oil used for tool cooling. After monitoring the condition of the oil and the retention of its intrinsic properties, the oil is completely recovered, with obvious advantages for the environment and further benefits in terms of healthy workplace.

RENEWABLE ENERGY PRODUCTION
A 1 MW photovoltaic system is installed on the roofs of the Suno production plant, producing clean energy: more than 9,000 panels transform sunlight into electricity, allowing the company to achieve significant energy savings, reducing plant consumption by more than 40%.

ECO-FRIENDLY PACKAGING
The Earth-focussed approach is also confirmed at the end of the production cycle. The packaging is made of 100% recyclable materials: FSC-certified cardboard, natural water-based paints and glues of plant origin. Sustainability is highlighted and guaranteed by the “100% recyclable” marking on the bottom of the packaging.
